I am a student at Valhalla and I think it is a great school, it is a safe and you rarely hear about fights or drugs on campus, ever. The teachers are wonderful too and are always doing what will help fit our schedule. We have a new program to help the disabled students and get us involved with working
... Read more with them as buddies. We all work together to get them into fun activites that don't single them out. The lunches are good and there are several windows so there isn't just one big line. Over all it is a wonderful school. Read less

My son has attended this school for the last three years, he simply loves it. As a parent I have been pleased with the teaching staff. He is been pretty much involved with the sports and ASB, the quality of the student is very commendable

My daughter has attended this school for the last two years, and I am very pleased with it overall. ... Read more a tendency not teach the material covered in the exams causing a very high percentage of students in certain classes to do poorly. I also find the amonut of homework my duaghter is expected to do in some of her AP classes to be a bit excessive. I believe AP classes should focus more on critical thinking than just throwing extra work at them. Overall it is geared towards students who are academic acheivers and is probably one of the best schools in the district for students that meet that profile. Read less

This school fails miserably for many disadvantaged and disabled students. This high school could benefit by updating their teaching methods and curriculum and differentiating their instruction to reach all of their student body not just the 'cream of the crop'.

Overall I think the school is great. Caring Teachers who are willing to stay after school to help students. My biggest concern now is what has happened to the sports program? In the past 2 years they have lost or fired some of the best coaches in the county.

I know the school very well. I have coached at Valhalla for 13 years and saw many students benefit from active teachers, coahes and parents. My sons attended Valhalla as well and now after graduating from college, they still talk very positively of the experience they had at Valhalla. Thank you all!

I am currecntly a student at Valhalla, and I love it... although we can encourage more students to take AP classes this school is very nice... in my opinion the Science Department is the best, the teachers are always there after school or whenever you need them to help and answer questions.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
