Both my children attended RSD Elementary up till this year because we moved to another state. We love this school and miss it very much. Both my children have gone to RSD. My youngest one will graduate this year, we will miss all the teachers,and the parents. RSD is a wonderful learning environment. My child did Kindergarten year at a school in another local district. RSD was more advanced. ... Read more love this school. Things to watch for: the extended day program should have a higher ratio of staff to student in my opinion. I think it is 15:1 currently. There are lots of stay-at-home moms, some tend to be click-ish. Students seem to be very caring young people, and friendly to each other. Principal is awesome. Teachers we've had for multiple students have been incredible. School has 1950's dance, a beach party dance, Fall festival, Moms and Muffins, Dads and Donuts. All fun activities. Could use more of these activities. Not too many fundraisers. Active PTA and high membership/volunteers. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
