And the administration is a big family who take good care of the kids and help guide them towards bright futures. My daughter attended Steele Canyon last year and was not happy there. We transferred to Granite Hills this year and we couldn't be happier! Don't make the mistake we did and judge a school by its appearance....Ask parents and kids who go there. Granite is the most spirited school and the kids love going

Principal Georgette Torres is top notch. You'll struggle to find a more active admistrator at any level. Just watch her walk down the halls and say hello to students of various backgrounds by name. ... Read more so raising school spirit can be like pulling teeth. The said student body is becoming increasing diverse, with that comes natural problems. The administration is well-aware, however, of the increased likelihood of conflict and does its best to crack-down. Some one earlier mentioned that the math department could use strengthening. That's agreed here, but I would contend that much needs to be done at the middle school and elementary school levels leading up to the time when students arrive on campus. Overall, good school if child chooses to use the high school's resources and friendly teachers to his/her advantage. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
