I think if you are looking for a 'Christian' school you will not be surprised by VC. If you are just browsing, I will point out some facts. The school proudly teaches Creationism, and my children were taught the bible as literal truth. I did not find the small classes that I expected at a private school.

At root what bothered me about this religious school is that it is not clear what religion this is, just the general 'believe the bible' themes. If you want a refuge from public schools, there are other choices. If you want a 'Christian' school, talk to the teachers, this might be for you. Read less

Top notch students and teachers! This school has it all. I love that there is a quality junior high/high school as well since many private schools in our area do not have that. The best aspect of the school is the quality character education based on the successful Biblical principles that will inevitably provide my three kids with the foundation to excel in whatever they choose to endeavor. I would not have my kids at any other school in our valley. The financial sacrifice and the 580 commute are worth every bit! Read less

I'm a working parent so I like the fact that we are only required to put in very little volunteer time per school year. There are so many other involved parents volunteering all the time so the children are in good hands. Most students are very disciplined; the teachers and staff do stress the importance
