The entire school is very dirty and in need of new paint and other upgrades. They have a GREAT sports program and medical program. The amount of students and teachers continue to drop each year. They lost 4 teachers this year due to the low enrollment. I hope they do something to make this a better ...  Read more

I am a parent who is involved in my kid's education...and my son is in the Honors program, takes AP classes and plays baseball. Deeper parental involvement would make this a 5-star school. Chatsworth's new Charter School status could also make a difference. I am of the mindset that you get what your ...  Read more

My son is a graduating senior this year and has been at Chatsworth High School all 4 years. He will be attending college at CA State University Northridge. Chatsworth has done well to prepare my son for college. His over all experience has been excellent. Thumbs Up for CHS!

My son is a ninth grader and is doing well. He is involved and challenged academically. I must say as an educator myself, that you cannot compare Chatsworth to Granada or El Camino charter schools. They can pick and choose who they want to accept or in the case of students who live in the area, kick ...  Read more

Chatsworth High School isn't as bad as it seems. It is just like any other public school when it comes to its problems. The school tries caring about all of its students and it has given students so many ways of getting involved and getting ahead in their academics. The honors and AP classes are extremely ...  Read more

Chatworth is in a complete downward spiral and needs a fundamental change in its approach to educating children. This change needs to start at the top. Conversion to a Charter School with a complete replacement of the administartion would be a good start. The administation appears to be severely lacking ...  Read more

The school is not necessarily bad its the parents that need to be more involved with the school, the teachers and activities. Parents need to be poactive-on top of their kids school work and support the teachers and sports and music programs. If the child is not doing their school work, learning their ...  Read more

Nice to see CHATSWORTH H.S. 2011 Scores have increased ! I want to see this school get a 7 out of 10 rating again. My son is now a senior and in his 3 + years at CHS he has NOT once complained about any teacher. In fact he has had good things to say about ALL his teachers. So like all schools students ...  Read more

I also have finished my first semester of 9th grade ,and all i have found this school to focus on is sports. The whole school smells like pot (especially the bathrooms). The teaching quality is not very good ,and the classrooms are dirty. As far as the homework (honors) the teachers focus on the quantity ...  Read more

I have just finished my first semester of 9th grade at Chatsworth High School. I think that it the school really tries to make it a good place, but there are students that just can not be helped. Sometimes when you go into the restroom, you can smell the pot; but I am sure that occurs at almost every ...  Read more
