Chaminade Middle School was the best thing that ever happened to my son. By no means is he a straight A student but he is certainly better prepared for High School and ultimately college because of his 3 years here. Like any school, there are some great teachers and not so great teachers. But everyone

The student body is great - confident, smart, well spoken. Great kids that you would want your kid around. The best part is the accountability and organization that is emphasized at Chaminade, I assure you, your child will walk out of there a organized and more responsible young adult. BTW, my child has friends from many faiths - not an issue here. Read less

Good for average students, not good for the higher level kids. Many inexperienced teachers, ratio too high. Lack of supervision outside class entirely offsets discipline achieved inside class. Babyish group projects, loads of busywork keeps kids from being able to study! Excellent extra-curricular

Low test grades can be offset with preschool level collages and projects. It is easy to lower your grade (just leave your homework in your locker once or twice), but it is very difficult to raise it again. Many group assignments are given with no follow up or supervision. Usually, one student ends up doing the work while the rest of the kids play. Read less
