My two children (K and 3rd grade) attend this school. This is their 3rd school in a year (military) and they absolutely love it. They fell right in and most of the kids are very friendly. Great staff from the teachers to the daycare provided for a VERY MINIMAL price. I am very happy with the programs

The morning time can be a bit crazy, but you can solve that by getting there 15 minutes early instead of waiting until the last minute. The kids can be dropped off up to 30 minutes early so there is no reason to deal with the traffic if you don't have to. And I have never seen a gate closed on a child. Again, this can be solved by getting there a little bit early! Read less

We are new to Bonsall and so far my daughter likes her teacher as do I. One of the problems I have with this school is the morning mad rush by students to get through the gate before it is shut on them.I drop my daughter off at school 5 minutes until the bell rings and my daughter as well as other students

I have stayed and watched as students who get to their scholl just in time or seconds late have the gate closed on them. This is when the students have to get in a line to get tardy slips. Because of this line children are instead of 30 seconds to a minute late they become now minutes late. I have seen the gate keeper as they close the gate when children are less then 20 feet away. I live in Bonsall and retired several years ago. I signed up to be a tutor for first grade reading. The teachers I became to know were really caring and the students I tutored seemed to enjoy the one on one. I think the teachers are great. There are quite a few volunteers here to help.

I have been taking my kids to Bonsall for 4 years now and the new school is beautiful. The security is a bit over the top with all 20 or so gates that are locked at all times just about. The traffic is a nightmare since they took the buses away and the new office staff really needs a review on common

I am a parent of two children that attend Bonsall Elementary. I have been very impressed with the quality of teachers they have had. I am also very pleased with the art and music programs provided for all grade levels. I volunteer in the classroom and am shocked to see how many other parents also volunteer.

We moved to Bonsall from a more affluent school district and had heard what a great district Bonsall was. Though my sons both loved their BES experience and we loved all the teachers, I must admit that I've been disappointed with the level of education at BES. It seems a bit behind what we are used

I think with what they have, they've done a great job though. I've been especially pleased with the arts programs and special events, which are important to a well-rounded education. It's the level of difficulty and the fact that I've never been asked to help in class that I question. Perhaps if parents had opportunities to volunteer, that could pick up the slack for teachers. We have found Bonsall to be an exceptionally supportive school for our typical daugther and special needs daughter. Our typical daughter has had amazing teachers who are tenured and keep up with their professional development. Their special needs director and staff are great!

We are still trying to figure out what is so great about this school? From the P.T.A. who practically run the whole school thanks to poor administration to the lack of safety guidelines...Something has got to give? My own children have been hurt many times during recess, P.E., and even in the classroom

In any other school that we have ever dealt with or employer for that matter..There are accident reports written but not at B.E.S. Probably because they are trying to hide the fact that they do not hire playground supervisors. In fact they have parents in the P.T.A. sign up for what is called ' Peaceful Playground Parents'. These women are nothing more then common housewives gossiping together on the playground while poor Danny & Annie fall down and hurt themselves. Read less

Our daughter attended K at Bonsall during the '06-'07 school year & I can't tell you how much we miss the school & teachers.
