All my children go/went to Ralston Middle School, and I have to say, I couldn't be any more happier! I mean, advanced or not, Ralston's curriculum is very advanced. ... Read more economy, the bus is VERY convenient for those who live anywhere in Redwood Shores. The best school for any kids! The environment there is very safe too. No hanky panky. This is by far the best! Even in the base classes, the kids education is very advanced. Just ask my oldest daughter who is currently studying at Stanford!! Read less

Ralston is an above average school with a strong parent volunteer base, some excellent teachers, some poor teachers and staff and a new principal, who joined the school two years ago. Some teachers have been on staff for decades and do not have email. The science and math programs, although taught

This is a fantastic school. My daughter transfered here from a private school and their experience was far below average. This school is better because they have more hands on learning and they do not have that Montessori method. Also, they have lots of discipline as my child used to be a very talkative

Our child just finished 8th grade. Overall, we found Ralston to be an excellent experience. There has been another change of principal, but we are very pleased with the new leadership. The one area for improvement is the inconsistecy of staff. While there are some excellent teachers, there are a

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
