Great kids, teachers, Sisters (of Notre Dame de Namur), and community. Great academics, teaches values and is a caring place. Faithfully teaches the whole child - what they need for life, and reminds the parents what is truly important.

I went from 2-8 at NDE and graduated in 2004. Unless you want your kid to go to NDB (the high school next door) don't bother. The academics are on par with a decent public school. We always lost at sports, no art program, computers were way too outdated and we only ever did typing drills. The music program ...  Read more

Love it! Can't imagine being happier! I feel my children are safe, happy and learning! The other families have been wonderful, open and friendly! It really is a little gem on the Peninsula!

I am uncle to several children who have attended or still attend NDE. It is a wonderful school, both in academics and social services. I know of families who travel as far away as Hillsborough and San Mateo Park, and by-pass very good public schools, to send their kids to NDE!

this is an excellent school. Notre Dame has a wonderful balance of education with religion integrated. The children that attend this school are well balanced, well behaved, and intelligent beings. I give the school average marks because it really caters to the average student. They may even be helpful to children who need remedial help. But for children who need more challenge or an advanced curriculum, this is not the right school for them. There is no differentiation in terms of curriculum. ...  Read more

This is a very bad school for newcomers from public schools they are not used to the montessori grading method. It is highly likely that they will get bad grades their first quarter. Also, the disciplinary system very week. I would highly reccomend Ralston or Tierra Linda if they are from a public school. ...  Read more

My three children are at NDE and the school has remained top notch and dedicated to the growth of the entire child. Highest marks to the school.

I have 2 kids at NDE and have been very impressed by the academics as well as the emphasis on community service and spirituality. I would highly recommend it!
