Always getting better, SHP is a getting better every year. Although the previous reviewer may feel that there is a lack of religious temphasis at the school, the fact is they are much more open to all ideas, and while they teach Catholic views and history, they do not force it upon kids. This school used to be good; I have seen a huge deteriorization of this school...I have since moved all of my 4 kids out to a different local Catholic school. Until this school returns to its old form of sound, fundamental teachings of religion, what is good and moral, and just plain old good academics,

... Read more my expectations. Class size is 8-12. The teachers are all highly educated, well qualified and approachable,they always make time for extra help. Their goal is to help each student reach their greatest potential,and enjoy high school at the same time. Their athletic program is wonderful, and quite extensive for a small school, so just about everyone makes a team and plays.They have all drama,dance,photography, ceramics, debate and lots of other clubs, too many to list here, extracurricular activities, including an exchange program with other Sacred Heart schools all around the world with other Sacred Heart schools.Parent participation is high and always welcomed. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
