12 Parent Reviews for Katella High School

I'm a senior at Katella and personally I dislike it. We have a poor educational program and even worse sports! I wanted to transfer to Sunny Hills for my final year this year :(

My son was transfered from another High School and he enjoys school so much more. Thanks Katella!

Its funny hearing what some parents hear and say about this school. No hard hats were worn by students to get to class, and there are always AP classes offered, you just have to be smart enough to get in them. My only concern is safety and campus security, which seems minimal. Academics aren't that bad, ...  Read more

I have had a student at Katella for 6 years now (2 kids). The teachers are quick to respond to an e-mail to ask about grades or behavior. I have been really happy with the school. It is true that there has been a lot of construction, but it takes a lot of time to make so many changes to such a large ...  Read more

Because of Katella my horizons are broad. You obtain a bond with the athletic, club and student-teacher communities aid me when I feel pressured with AP work load, and social problems at home. It is a sense of frienship, and innovation on obtains from the student goverment and subjects. Yet the current ...  Read more

This school has pretty good academics. They had a great drama and music program in the past, but since the lost their Mr. holland aka: Mr. Weiss the school's music program is now pretty lame. Their sports program is ok, but their is room for improvement. Parent involvement at this school is basically ...  Read more

Being a student at Katella gives me more power to judge than anyone else and I am a honor student that is very athletic. It is a great school and I don't believe how bad people think it is. All I have to say is Knight Pride!
