If you are willing to participate & help your child & their teacher then I think you will see better results, No matter what school you choose. If you do have a problem with your child's teacher or even another student, the principal is willing to listen & mediate the situation. Yes i Love Mr. Richardon, i felt he was an awsome principal. He will be missed now that he has move from SunRais. However! I'm Not very happy with this school or with all of thier teachers. Mr Richardson is one of the most involved principals that I have ever seen and I hope he knows that he is appreciated by the parents and kids! I do not like this school, my daughters teacher is also very rude and de-grading. The teacher is also quite lazy, allowing the students to grade each others papers. I have found answers marked wrong on my daughters homework that were correct and the teacher doesn't even check properly, she just takes

Yes I agree this is a very clean school, but thats not enough. My daughter transferred here during the middle of the school year. I was surprised Sunrise only got a 6. I thought it would be a 8 or 9. My son started Kindergarten there, and when we had to relocate after half of the year I was very dissapointed in our new school. I am extremely impressed by the staff and environment at Sunrise Elementary. I have a student in 2nd grade and the teachers have a great attitude toward all children and parents. Sunrise provides many opportunities for us to be involved. I have always feel welcome by the principal and office staff.

... Read more it feels like she has been there for five plus years because she is easy to enjoy and is very comfortable to be around. I love how my teachers are not afraid to ask for help and they really having a positive and loving attitude about them that they acknowledge that they are not overwhelming you. They are very upbeat teachers. I love this school and I feel so very blessed to have motivated teachers for my children. These two teachers are what makes the school a success! Read less

Yes the school is clean, but it is also still very new. The ladies in the office can be nice, but only if you catch them on a good day. The principle does show plenty of involvement, but does not meet the needs of parents. Most of the teachers are really great. Would not recommend this school.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
