I don't think this school has the best curriculum. The students learning level or skill level here are much lower than schools back east. I also do not agree with the discipline methods of some of the teachers. But, I do see that most of the teachers will work with the parents if problems arise.

My daughter and son are in the honors class they said to me that the class is big and that the teacher pays attention to everyone in the class and he doesnt single anyone out! Best school by far. Even if you arent in the housing limits, you should send your child to this school. This place offers great social stuations, and even greater education. My soon-to-be-an-eight-grader daughter and I love this school.

We moved to SV more than 3yrs.ago and I'm glad that my children went to these top rated schools (PDS and Apache MS). My daughter has always been above average to excelling in school. But in Apache, her Math grades went up incredibly --thanks to the teachers, principal and PTO who are doing a good job

I have found that the school needs to improve a whole lot. The teacher's have not learned patience,understanding. They have no specialty for special ed. They need to bring in some better qualified teachers and hold them accountable. The system they have does not work. they need to look at each student

Read more individually and know each child learns diferently and make learning fun. we are not all circles, there are triangles, rectangles. and students get into trouble because of boredom. the teachers lack respect for there students, and the parents. treat students with respect and care what they have to say. I believe all teachers and staf must be required to take Love & logic classes and yearly classes to get up to date on how to teach w/positiveness and stop the negative remarks. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
