A major them of the school is student self-reliance. They expect students to be able to think and act responsibly on their own. Encouraging self-reliance is nearly absent in the public school agenda. An overwhelming majority of the teachers have extensive, successful private sector experience. I'll take

We left the school after 3 years. Now that my children are in public school, I can more clearly give the good, the bad and the ugly. We attended this school because it was 'college Prep', however, we now realize that our children are getting a much better education at the public schools. Classes are

supposed to be 'honors classes', but compared to the public schools, they weren't very challenging. The leadership is poor. The rules are not for everyone, only those the adminstration choose-some kids get preferential treatment, which was very disappointing. The teachers are involved with the students, which make it a very comfortable learning environment and experience. This school has taught me valuable life

They also give students an upper hand while applying for college, as well as being involved in the community. The rare academic opportunities that are offered make for well rounded students that will be more prepared for college than if they were to attend a public school. Read less

Weak administration. Inconsistent discipline of kids. Some minor infractions are given harsh punishments while major infractions are overlooked. A few good teachers, but quite a few bad ones. Nice kids-my child did make some good friends. Great environment for 6th grade, but felt the need to leave
