As a teacher at El Dorado for 10+ yrs I COMPLETELY DISAGREE with several of June reviews. El Dorado's number 1 priority is our student's education and creating well rounded individuals. As for the owner/director, she is always there for her staff and gives 110% to make EDPS the best it can be. If the

Our school offers low students/teacher ratios and an individualized curriculm so that every child is given the opportunity to succeed. Please don't look at those couple of reviews from sour parents that are never going to be happy at any school their child attends and come see for yourself what El Dorado is all about. Read less

Very disappointed by a few parents who ruin it for us all. My kids have been at El Dorado for 8yrs and they love it. Not once in the 8 years has it ever been a fight with my kids to go to school they can't wait to get there each day. Yes there is turnover but they are getting rid of the bad apples. With

This school is one of the worst examples of a private school we've ever seen. The politics come screaming through the halls, as fantastic teachers are let go, while older teachers that cause trouble, stay. The owner has no involvement with her staff, and does not help with problems between them. The

The most important thing is that our children are happy and learn, and that can not be fulfilled if the teachers are unhappy. It emanates through the halls that the staff members are not a family and that they do what they can to make others look bad. That is not the environment I want my children to grow up learning. We are very displeased with this school. Read less

We love this school. It will be our 6th year there with 3 children. They have an individualized curriculum that has addressed each of my unique children s needs. You feel like a part of a large family at this school. Even with the very academic curriculum they make learning fun and the kids do not get

There are usually at least two teachers in every classroom; so, it gives your child two different adults to relate to. Also, the school realizes that academics are not the only important part of an elementary education. Constant teacher turnover, silly policies and a lack of motivation to improve the school made us leave. The owner is satisfied with a full preschool than addressing why the primary and middles school students are leaving. The only strong point is math. The students are far behind on writing.

Sadly, the cons out weigh the pros at this school. Often, I was disturbed by the lack of teacher involvement to help the children settle disbutes in the classroom. Children were often crying and forced to figure out themsleves how to handle conflicts. Isn't that a major part of a teacher's job? Especially
