Wow, this school is horrible. The academics are far below average and there is persistent bullying. People only care about wealth and popularity. DO NOT go to this school.

It was the best when I went there twenty years ago and it's still the best. When we relocated back to AZ a year ago, I made sure we would be in the Cocopah district. I wasn't leaving my daughter's education to chance by going anywhere else.

Horrible Horrible HORRIBLE. This school is the worst school ever, not only is there constant bullying but it was unsafe and the staff did nothing to help at all. Don't send your students to this school unless you want them to come home crying everyday.

I don't see why so many parents say this school had a bullying problem. I went to a school in the paradise valley district that was much worse than Cocopah. The principal never did anything to help you at all, unlike Rasmussen who handles every situation, and at that school everyone was a bully. Do not ...  Read more

I moved from the bay area of California and so far this school is awesome because the teachers are very nice and I don't see why so many people are saying that people get bullied because comparing to my other school in the supposedly 'wealthy' part of California there is no bullying at all. Also there ...  Read more

Safety is an issue at this school. I too, have a very bright child who has common sense. To say that having a bright child with common sense makes them immune to bullying is absurd. It is a reality and does happen to children regardless of their intelligence at this school. The staff needs to be involved ...  Read more

I have had my experiences with this school that were amazing. The academics are great, my kids have mad friends easily, and school has high test scores. The only thing I think is an issue is the parent and staff are not involved enough. Also my kids, who are very bright and know common sense have not ...  Read more

The safety at this school was a serious concern for me. Constant bullying and harassment. Do not attend here unless you are very socially adroit or physically tough.

Cocopah is so fortunate to have Frank Rasmussen as their principal for another year! He is the BEST thing that has happened to that school for a long time!

I LOVE Cocopah! It's AMAZING! The teachers are great and all of the staff members are superior! This was my first year at a public school and I made friends like that! The kids are the best and I can't ask for a better middle school!
