I have been going to Chaparral and I can say that I am not disappointeed. The best is the academics and the teachers, the teachers are great. I do not know about regular clases but the honors calsses at Chaparral are difficult. The English, Science and Math is difficult and is very useful. I have seen

I'm very pleased with Chaparral and glad my son is there. They have great, experienced teachers (most have over 25 years under their belt,) excellent sports, and Chaparral is a very safe campus.

Chaparral is an excellent high school. The teachers are top notch. The honors classes are challenging. This is a great school and offers a wonderful foundation for any college.

Unchallenging and uninteresting school. If you want to go to a school with the brattiest wealthiest people in Arizona go here. Serious drug problems and violence among the students. My daughter transfered from Notre Dame Prep to Chaparral and I had no problem with it. Chaparral truly is better in all aspects, the kids are happier, the education is the same but Chaparral's teachers are more experienced, and the campus is more welcoming (classrooms, etc.)

this is a great school if you are looking for sports, clubs, and some challenging academic classes. although remember that just like in any high school there will be drama, popularity problems, and that the main student body is well to do. if your child cannot compete with this, it is not the school

In looking at colleges throughout the nation, it is gratifying to note that they are very aware of Chaparral and its excellent reputation. There is every kind of club to be involved in as well as sports. It is also an excellent school if you have problems with your student. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
