My kids are in the lower grades, and we all love it. The teachers are very capable and caring and intelligent. This school really encourages all parents to come in and help out. There are wonderful experiences and activities, such as lots of field trips to performances at Yavapai college, making gingerbread

Read more houses for the Prescott Resort gingerbread display, etc. We've recently moved, and have only been at this school a few months, but my kids were welcomed by the students and teachers and are really enjoying it. This school focuses on values, which I appreciate. I also like that they do computer lab everyday. The teachers are a little more strict, but I feel it's good for my kids. They know what is expected of them and they are thriving in this environment. Read less

I think this school needs to evaluate their teachers more effectively. Some of them are very strict and penalize the students for any little thing.

It has good academic programs. They encourage the kids a whole lot to learn. The teachers love to teach there classes. It is a very loving enviroment. Where a lot of kids suceed. it has great Music, Art and P.E. classes. The Staff There is Really wonderful.. They treat everyone with respect.

WTS is a wonderful school. I really appreciate the teachers and staff and how friendly and open they are. My sons love this school. ... Read more of the teachers at WTS having high expectations for them and believing that they can acheive great things academically. There is a great balance of school work, fun and responsiblity. I was involved in the classroom weekly and enjoyed working with each teacher and the office staff. I truely appreciate the emphasis on values, morals and striving to be your best. WTS is overall a great school! Parents and educators work together to make sure the children are well schooled in the really important areas, such as reading, math, spelling, science, etc... I especially appreciate the strict enforcement of a dress code and that parents are held accountable for their

The over quality of this school in k-3 is 5+. In fact I believe becauce of its very high Spanish and low income population, yet high Standford and Aims marks they should be rated an A+ school. So it is difficult to give this school an overall rating because it is so great in the lower grades and so less than great in the upper grades. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
