10 Parent Reviews for Kyrene Centennial Middle School

Thou there's a 'No Bulling' on the school grounds does not mean there's not complete rudeness out through the student population. Fair warning, if your child is new this year to the school. Beware..

my child goes to Centennial Middle School and she can't wait to get there in the morning! she tells me that the teachers are great and she understands things and doesn't feel embarrassed to raise her hand when she doesn't understand something. She says she also feels safe knowing theres a police on campus. ...  Read more

I was a student at Centennial and I didn't like how little control teachers had over the other students. Many of my classmates behaved inappropriately during both lunch and inside classrooms. Outstanding school! I recently attended Cenntenial and I was very pleased with the teachers and staff. The teachers are very helpful and the principal and assistant principal are magnificent. I suggest team 8A and 8D if parents are looking to register a child of theirs in 8th grade.

The Principal does not listen to the parents concerns. We cannot wait until we get out of the Kyrene district. I never understood ...  Read more

My daughter is currently attending the 6th grade. This school is grades 6-8. Overall an ok school. Lots of extracurricular activities for the students. That seems to be more of the focus rather than in the classroom. Some teachers had lackluster grading styles and had minimal at best contact with ...  Read more

I have had one child complete three years at Centennial and one child who just finished 7th grade. The teachers care about the students, the principals know the students individually. Reasonable expectations in terms of homework--it is expected to be done, and if it's not done, consequences follow. ...  Read more
