I teach at Peoria Elementary. Our school has to work hard to keep our grades and scores where they are. We continue to move up in the rankings with our test scores, which improve each year. I think this is the best school in the district! We truly love and care about our students, in every way.

We transferred out 2 children 6th & 7th grade from a local parochial school they attended since kindergarten with fear they would not adjust. I could kick myself for all the money wasted. This school is incredible the staff is top notch they strive to educate our children and make them feel welcomed.
... Read more From the moment you walk into the office the office staff is smiling and friendly. Mr. Stanfield the principal greets the children every morning and Mrs Stevenson VP is always there with a watchful eye over the school. My children love this school and always share their day and what they have learned. The faculty is excellent in reaching these children teaching them to succeed by learning. The sport coaches are an incredible inspiration and support all their athletes. We have watched our children thrive at this school and it is truly a blessing. G Torres Read less

My Grandson has been going to Peoria Elementary since pre kindergarden and has strived in both education and social skills. My hat goes off to this school they not only love and respect there kids but strive to make sure there education is top notch. Thankyou to all staff keep up the excellent work.....

... Read more been very happy with the education my children have received at this school. The principal Mr. Stanfield is outstanding. I drop off and pick up my children daily. He is out every morning greeting the children, talking to parents and just over seeing his school. The teachers and staff are excellent-always going that extra mile. We love Peoria Elementary especially after going through 5 schools in the avondale district because of growth. My children are gifted and very active in school programs and Peoria offers them more than any school in the past and they are blossoming more than ever now. Great Job Peoria!

Advanced Placement
