... Read more special needs.As my 1st child, I didn't know he was developing differently than other children his age. The teachers helped me and my son and he is in 2nd grade as does have special needs. They have a fantastic program for special needs and he is in a regular classroon! His teachers up until now have put extra time and effort in keeping him up to grade level in all subjects! My daugter, now in PreK, is learning great things there! Even sign Language! Read less

... Read more themselves around due to the school environment they are in. They struggle with extra curricular activities but have an excellent staff who really care about their students. My daughter will miss the school next year when she comes to Flagstaff for Middle School. She's leaving not because Middle School in Parks is substandard but because she will have more opportunities in a larger school and it will make the transition to High School that much easier. Maine school is a small school, about 90 kids total from k-6. Classes are small and the kids get much individual attention from teachers. Dr Martinez, the principal is excellent! Kids are rewarded for 'good behavior', and held accountable for actions when inappropriate. Character counts is pro active;

Advanced Placement

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
