So happy we live here and have NRE for free! Truly amazing. I had never been exposed to public schools before in my life and I'm very happy here. NRE has the most amazing teachers and parents. They are always willing to go the extra mile for the students. Up early in the morning and staying late in the evenings to make sure that the students have a great learning experience as well as fun activities.

This school feels like home. The small school atmosphere creates a warm environment for everyone. Students, parents and teachers all seem to know each other. If it weren't so welcoming I would never have stayed here this long.

We have the best Principal, Mrs. Graham at our school. We have a variety of children with only the best to put forth. We are a small school and we make the best out of everything that we have. You know how awesome our school is when you walk through the front doors and Darcy and Lisa, the office staff, are the first examples of kindness that you arrive too. My daughter (only child) started full day kindergarten at New River Elementary this year. She loves it. Her teacher is excellent. She does her best to keep all the kids stimulated so they don't get bored. I love that the staff knows every child and parent by name. Awesome School!!!

My daughter has excelled since starting at New River. Her grades and discipline were starting to suffer from the poor leadership of a charter school. However, once starting at New River, she is focused, well-mannered, and respectful. Great school!

New River Elementary is a wonderful school with great teachers and great students. The campus is clean and safe. It is very different from any other school in AZ. My children have been to various other schools around AZ and New River Elementary is one of a kind. My kids absolutely love the school. After
... Read more having them in other schools, they do not compare to New River. The teachers and principle know all the kids and parents by name, unlike all of the other over crowded schools in AZ. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
