I went to heritage for seventh grade and then moved but i loved everything about it and wish i could go back. I liked every teacher and i enjoyed the classes. I learned so much about American history and the latin language. ill never forget it.

I loved being at Heritage Academy! I was there from 7th grade till 12th. The teachers there aren't just teaching what is in the books. They are examples of what every teacher sould be like in ever school. I cant wait to send my kids there! The clean rooms to the clean campus make for a great learning

I attended Heritage Academy for six years and although at times it was tough and I didn't always agree with some of the rules, I loved it. Heritage is a good school because the kids and parents are good people. It is safe, friendly, and a positive, family atmosphere. The Spanish program is weak, but they have a good variety of electives.

I found their drama/art department to be top notch. Our children were involved in the sports program. Even though it is small it provided opportunities that they probably wouldn't have gotten elsewhere. The academic program is strong and the learning environment is wonderful. The teachers are great.

The Heritage Academy offers more than most chartered schools. It has all the required classes to get into college. They also offer drama, dance, music, band, some sports, and many other electives. The students wear uniforms. They truly care about the students.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.

visual and performing arts, special talents in visual art, music, dance, drama, or other related studies;
psychomotor ability, such as practical, spatial, mechanical, and physical skills.
Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
