Santa Rosa is a wonderful community of staff and teachers. The school is changing and adapting to the rapid growth out here in Maricopa. I love Santa Rosa Elementary, it is a very good school, the teachers are very approachable and very involved, the Principal as well. The programs are very appropriate and my child seems to be doing very well at this school. Every child seems to be getting the attention they need and deserve!

The fact that art, music, and sports are included in the academic program is fantastic. I've taught in Southern California for 30 years and my grandchildren will certainly benefit from the arts. It is a crime that children are pushed to pass tests rather than learn how to enjoy life!

The school overall has improved. The classes are still too full. My children have attended the school since it open. They enjoy their teachers. The teacher/parent communication has also improved greatly. It will only get better with parent/teacher involvement.

This school is almost a joke! My son attended it last year and learned very little above what he already knew. The school was built for k-3 and now houses pre-6, way too many kids. No organization, no art, very small inadequate library, principal doesn't know what is going on, no science or history curriculum,

I was very disappointed with the experience I had when I enrolled my daughter in this school. From the beginning the school was very disorganized and non attentive to our needs. On my daughters first day of school she didn't have a teacher or room assigned to her nor did they have a desk or books prepared
... Read more for her. Even though she was pre registered for 2 weeks. My biggest disappointment was when I entered the classroom and it was completley disorganized and dirty. The teacher didn't welcome us she nor did she want want to answer my questions regarding her background. I ended up pulling my daughter out of this particulary school 2 days laterbecause the teacher did not want her to use any of her wide ruled paper. When I went to withdraw her from the school no one really cared. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
