i have found certain teachers to have outstanding attittudes, such as Shirley Henderson. While others are so stubborn about ideas that they leave no room for improvement in a school that is already below state averages in most areas. There is a major lack of diversity in elective choices. There is also a real dress code enforcement. As a parent of 2 children who have gone to this school I am very disappointed in the lack of principal envolvment.

KHS is a great school. The only problem I found was the foreign language program. The music program is one of the best in AZ. My child was in the national honor society and received a scholarship to NAU. Good job Kingman

The academic program is good and they do have great English teachers. They lack in foreign languages though. Electives at the school are few, but the essential classes are great. There are many after school activities to pick from. The parents get some involvement.The business classes are a great pick.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
