wasn't what i expected. I transfered from a high school in new york last year with high expectations. The people are okay and the classes arent so bad but its just not for me. So after looking around at each school near me, i finally decided last year to switch to Agua Fria. I sure am glad to be here.

We are a military family new to the Goodyear area. We sent our son, a Senior, to MHS based on the recommendations of our neighbors who also have students at Millennium. The verdict? We like it! Of the three high schools my son has attended, Millennium has been his favorite. The band program is exceptional

I am a sophmore at Millennium High School and I'm loving every second of if not only do i love the small, yet fun things they do, but i like the options they have for extra carricular activities and I really liked street law...Mr.Cruz is the teacher for that class...I want to become a police officer

Read more some day and i think that class helped me a lot in my understanding of what being a police officer is all about.....i love my other classed too but im focusing on beign a police officer and i hope after my senior year that i get accepted into Grand Canyon University...the have a great program there for aspiring police officers....I love Millennium! I am a senior at Millennium High School and I have been there since I was a Freshman. I was apart of the sophomore class that had amazing test scores that labeled Millennium as, Excelling. ... Read more kids could attend Millennium. The principal Dr. Runyan is very nice and easy for students like myself to talk to. However as nice as he is he often becomes a pushover. The assistant principal Ms. Landis is tough and to the point, she doen't take anyones, crap, so to speak. I am very excited but at the same time sad that is is my last year at Millennium; I will forever remember this school as the school that helped me get to were I want to be in life as I got excepted into the Cordon Blu Institute. Millennium is a great school. It started as Agua Fria North in 1979 as a freshman-only campus sending the freshmen to Agua Fria High School (their well noted rival). Then in 1999 it became a high school starting at the bottom of the ladder. In ten short years it rose to become probably the best school
... Read more in the West Valley, making it's name well known across the state and bringing much pride to Goodyear with many trophies from sports and activities. There are MANY after school activities after school ranging from football to art to marching band. Speaking of activities its football teams are rising as the best in the West Valley and may rank with Centennial or Peoria. The school has also risen in acedemics bringing more fame with an excelling school rating. And coming in 2009 there will be an IB program coming to the school, allowing more opportunities. Read less

My daughter has attended Millennium High School for just over a year. I am very disappointed in the school. The classroom sizes are very large which is a disadvantage to students and teachers a like. They do have many highly rated extra cirricular activities which is very nice. The test scores are high

This School was the most wrongest mistake I have made. The School and Teachers aren't respectful to the students and parents. The School is all about pride and they don't care about anything else. Aqua Fria is the school I am at now and its the best choice I have made.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
