what can i say about globe high school? it's a fairly average school all around. the teachers (overall) are the only thing about this school that is actually above average. i'm a freshman at ghs and i can already tell that with the teachers i have this year, i'm going to be watched out for-both academically
... Read more and in my personal life as well. i'm actually pretty relieved that some of them care about their students rather than them being just another annoying kid that they're probably never going to see again. academically, i think they could do a lot better. for honors classes, they only have about one teacher so if you don't like that one teacher, you're pretty much out of luck if you want to stay an honors student. that is the part that really bothers me. I'm currently a junior at Globe high, and i honestly believe that Globe High isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Its an easy place for students to make friends, and the teaching staff is actually pretty fair. (science and art teachers seem to be the best, however). Globe is a beautiful town
... Read more that, like all towns, has a few 'bad' people in it that seem to get all of the recogniton. I've been in the mesa/Gilbert, AZ school district, and i've NEVER recieved the attention from teachers there that the globe teachers pay to your personal life, not just acedemic acheivement. A lot of the teachers genuinely CARE and try to make both of your lives better. But, like in life, you have to be respectful, and earn this caring. Its hard for even teachers to care about someone who doens't care about them. Read less
