Copperwood has always had exceptional leadership at all levels. What I love the most is the tenure of the teachers and the loving care and passion that they have for the students and for teaching . I Would really agree that as a student of Copperwood, I am very grateful to be attending such a wonderful school with UNBELIEVABLE teacher's and a Principal who goes out of his way to help students reach their goals in life and help them succeed in education. I am a former student of Copperwood and have to say that I am extremely grateful to my parents for sending me there. I am currently a student at Ironwood, a local high school, and any other school could not have prepared me better than Copperwood did for the academic challenges I currently face at IHS.
... Read more The teachers were always willing to help me and sparked interest in subjects I otherwise would not have studied. It was definately better than my previous elementary school, in which i was an outcast because of my intellectual abilities. I just wanted to let any parent know that they can feel totally at ease when deciding whether or not to send their child/ren to this school! It's easy to tell others that you love the shcool that your kids go to, but it honestly is so true. This school thinks outside the box and really helps your child

This is our second year at Copperwood. My two first graders and fifth grader love their teachers. The principal and assistant principal know most of the students by name and are always visible, asking the students how their day is going and making sure everyone is where they should be. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
