In my 8th grade year, there was controversy at MJHS because of two teachers (those of you students remember hearing how the office doesn't want the teachers talking to Mr. Izzet, they only want them talking to Mr. Yee). im an 8th grade student here and this school is okay.. the teachers are iffy some are supper strict im not say whoo but if you go there you know who the meanest is and we all would agree on that haha but then there are the supper nice teachers like Ms Evans, Mr, Moeller Ms Blasdale ect that are nice.

I am an eighth grade student at MJHS and I really love this school! There are tons of clubs that you can join and the staff are very friendly. Plus, now that the construction is coming to a close the campus looks great, and I definetly think that all of that construction was worth it!

I love this school because the teachers there are really nice and they really care about your education.The sports they have are great for the students and the coaches really concentrate on teaching them how to play. I love MJHS I would say its the best school ever. an 8th grade student

Over all I'd have to say the 'Education' level is O.K. Some teachers a bit too liberal (Al Gore in Science is not science) I think someone should have considered closing it while under construction! What a mess, and for the life of me someone needs to enforce a dress code. Whatever happened to teachers

I think most of the teachers there are just pulling down a paycheck, only 2 ever made any comments about my son, either negative or positive, and he is a 3.85 student. The band program at MJHS is outstanding. Mr. Fay, the band director, is challenging, fun, knowledgable, and professional. It is a full credit, unlike some districts.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
