To begin with, Highland is a fantastic... for 'mainstream' people. The Honors and AP classes there are challenging, and the music program is great, although it will hold freshmen and students the teachers don't deem responsible back from their true potential. The coding teachers can teach you from not

The counseling department really has no interest in actually helping people, and their first resort, regardless of what emotional or family problems you have, is 'Oh, I'm sorry your life is doing bad, now drop the class.' I say all of the aforementioned things from experience. Concerning LDS, it's not that big of a problem, although the fact that there is a LDS seminary that's essentially on-campus is annoying. The LDS kids at school will try to convert you for about a week, and then just give Read less

Highland is an all-around fabulous school! The AP classes are incredible and are better than some of my college classes. The AP writing teachers prepare you to become excellent writers in all situations--a skill that our world is greatly lacking. The music programs are top notch and worth taking.

People who can get past the fact that not everyone believes the same thing will be absolutely fine at this school. The new

We are number one in the state. What more could you want?! The music department is even more amazing. The teachers push their kids so hard to be excellent, and boy does it show. We have an amazing symphony and the best Marching Band in the Southwest. I would recommend anyone to go to Highland. Read less

HHS was a good school to attend. The teachers were great and wanted to help the kids out. Sports, well, coaches could have been better. For example ... girls volleyball, in the 4 years I was there, we had 4 different coaches, for both freshman and varsity, and a couple for JV. Parent involvement is good,

Highland.. If your child is going to take Honors, AP, or music classes, and your child doesn't have learning or emotional issues, then Highland might be the right school for you. There isn't much for an academically struggling student. As an Honors student, I can tell you that its classes will definitely
