This school used to be great! However, since leaving to attend public high school, I found that I was Not up to current high school standards! I just about failed math due to the fact that there is no standard educational plan. The only people who cared were Mr. David Whitlock (Teacher) and Mr. Timothy

I was a student that attended this school last year. I was in the American Leadership School. I would have to say that my year at this school was the best year of my life. I DID NOT learn much though. I actually wanted to attend the school again because I was affraid to attend public school because I
... Read more thought I would be behind. The American Leadership School has a lesson plan where you teach yourself. Teaching yourself reffers to a teacher not standing at a board all day and teaching you, but sitting at their desk watching you read books and teach yourself. I didn't understand how to do that. In other words, I did not have a good learning experience there. I enjoyed this school because of the people. I would go to this school again if there was a different learning environment. :) Read less

I'm so sorry the previous parent had a bad experience, but most of her comments had nothing to do with the school itself, just some overprotective parents! I sent my 6th grader to this school and I must say that it is a terrible school. There was an entire lack of focus on academics and I do not feel that the school was adequately preparing my son for high school or college. In addition to this while I believe that it is okay for parents to be involved

It IS however a patriotic, conservative school whos teachings are Christian-centered (as much as allowed in a public school), so if this offends you, you won't be comfortable here. But for most students,
