The level of communication between parents and the school has often resulted in parents not knowing that their young children have been dismissed from school. Early dismissal, in-school programs, extracurricular notifications, and even discipline problems are not communicated to parents regularly -
... Read more if at all. Sports carries a high priority, but music, art, and theatre do not. There is a wide range of teaching ability at this school - from top notch to very, very poor. But because there aren't a large number of students, there is usually no other choice. Read less

Teachers only teach to pass the AIMS test, not to educate the children properly. This school district sadly falls far below the expetations of a proper education. Discipline seems to also be a problem that hasn't been taken care of properly.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
