My husband and I chose this community to relocate after touring Fountain Hills Charter School. Our children do not have a history of doing well on standardized test. Prior to moving them to this school they were beginning to not like school at all. That has changed and we are very pleased with our decision

I give a great deal of credit to the teachers and also the administrator for encouraging us and giving positive direction in being a partner in our children's education. My 3 children have been going to the Charter school since they were 3 years old. Great academic program, but very poor when it comes to emotional growth. The mentoring program is wonderful! If you are not an upper class family or stay at home parent you are almost always left 'out of the loop' when it comes to updates with the school.

Great learning environment! Teachers are kind and caring. Hands on learning through Montessori foundations. Love the mixed grade setting that allows each child to develop at their own pace. Administration and faculty are family oriented and encourage parental involvement.

My children (K and 3rd Grade) have learned to be self driven in getting their work done. They have the opportunity to prioritize their work; with teacher (re)direction when they need it. My 3rd grader comes home most days and very proudly announces that she got all her work done. My Grade K child

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
