The school does a poor job of informing parents of students grades as the year progress which tends to degrade a parent's ability to properly assist in the education process. Other schools allow parents to go online to view grades and/or progress. My children complain that some of the students do not

That is sad! This school, I just cant find the words. The principal has a paddle on his window. I know he doesnt use it, weel, hopefully not. I don't like seeing it though. I had those used on me before. I think it is arrogant keeping those up there. That however is the mentality that doesnt want

My grandson moved from California last November. He attended a Montessori school in kindergarten and first grade. He was reading 'chapter' books and writing a review each day, 'borrowing' and multiplication, and had to research and present two major projects. Since attending Thompson Ranch, he has
... Read more done very little challenging or difficult work. Homework is done with little thought (he says 'I already know that'). My concern is the low AIMS scores for Thompson Ranch. Based on the materials he brings homes, they seem to be working below grade level. Read less

... Read more other administrators have been phenomenally positive. The teachers are also extremely good. The educators that my kids have been lucky enough to have are all very responsive to their needs and professional. Both of my daughters are quick and the school doesn't hesitate to test for their talented and gifted programs. They just barely miss the cut off, but their teachers still customize their curriculum to meet the girls' needs. It's amazing and wonderful! Read less

We as a community need to get involved and support the people that are molding the minds of our children. Advanced Placement
