sadly, the principal is a good example of what not to do, he constantly degrades staff and parent feel that he looks at them as if he is superior to them. Very bad special education program..

Surprise School has come a long way in the past 3 years. We have a strong PTSA involvement with school and the Student Council is doing many fun things for the students this year. Parent involvement could be better, but that can always improve no matter what school you go to. The teachers care about
... Read more the students and work long hours to help the children succeed. The principal and assistants put learning as their first priority and know many of the children by name; not because they are discipline problems, but because they care enough to learn about all the kids! Read less

I have not had any problems with this school so far this is my kids second yr there. I like how the school try's to find a solution for problems and ways to incourage the kids. Every school has a few bad seeds but this school acts like they care for the kids. So a special thanks to Surpise Elementary

My children have attended Surprise since 2003.Up until this 2006-2007 school year I have been completely happy with teachers. My daughters 6th grade teachers have completely broken our spirits. These teachers have been in my opinion very unprofessional and discouraging to both my daughter and myself.For

Read more all the training and workshops these teachers are going to they were easily frustrated with my daughters behavior and were quick to point fingers.I cannot wait for this year to be over.This school faces many challenges the district needs to better equip these teachers to solve problems and come up with positive solutions for our children.Not verbally beat them down. This is ny sons first year at Surprise, this year has been rough since the school was re-built and not done when school started so there were not a lot of availability for 'Specials' and the usage of the libary until mid- year. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
