Clarkdale Jerome School has always been a wonderful school. I went there and now my child attends. Front office friendliness would be a good impovment as would the principal being more front and center rather than Mrs. Lysell. Middle shool teachers are very good in understanding and teaching culture.

Generally a good school. However, there could be more emphasis in leadership toward rewarding good behaviour, increase in grade point, friendliness in the front office would be beneficial. Challenges for students who are ready to move ahead are lacking, though the teachers feel they do move students forward when they are ready. Principle is in the background, Ms. Fleenor (sp?) is a little more active. I am not for children running the school, I am for an atmosphere that is encouraging, and not one that is waiting for you to make one mistake. I am ready to look for a charter school or move over towards Big Park in Sedona. Read less

This school offers music, arts, sports and computer lab. Academically I think this school rates well above the rest in our area. The teaching staff is of unbelievable talent,until the sixth grade. Unfortunately School enrollment decreases and more students withdrawal within the 1st quarter of sixth grade.

Advanced Placement
