Our family has really enjoyed being a part of the Frost Family. Our two older children have been attending Frost since 2005 and we refuse to move partly because we are extremely satisfied with the school. We have been blessed to have had some wonderful teachers that are involved, excited and concerned
... Read more about our children. Among those teachers are Mr. Kinslow, Ms. Bean, Mr. Vasquez and Ms. Bailey. All of these teachers have shown great amounts of support for our children's academic, emotional and social needs. They have all been really great about staying in contact with us in regards to performance and getting back to us immediately when requested. The school principal Mr. Moe is also a great help. The few times that we have needed to contact him in regards to issues from bus routes to academic ones, he has been quick to resolve the matters at hand. Read less

I think the kids club after school program is really bad... They do not watch your kids and they are very irresponsible. As far as the school and teachers itself... ... Read more think their homework and teaching plans are very good and they don't do enough after school events. My daughters other school always had after school events that involved the students and parents and it was fun, educational and safe. Read less

The Principal, Mr. Moe has been very responsive to my need for involvement in my child's education. ... Read more business alone to work in tandem with your child, who maybe just 10 years old. I had a few problems with that factor but was assisted by Mr. Moe and the issue was remedied. I think the music program is good but I am more concerned with core skills like Math, English,Social studies and the like. The only way to make sure you know what your child is doing is to insist the day planners be used by the teachers otherwise, you will be completely in the dark. The day planners are communication enhancers they should be used by all. Read less

As a parent, I was steered away from being involved in not only my child's classroom, but also in her education all together. It was very much a 'My way or Highway' option atmosphere, and left little room for parental concerns or assistance. The principal refused to acknowledge any issues in parent/teacher

The teacher insinuated and insisted that my child had a learning disability, although testing at the top of the grade level said otherwise. Parental involvement at this school, insofar as PTo was concerned, was so low it might as well not exist. The principal seemed detached and uncaring about the students as individuals.

Frost elementary has been a very positive experience for my child. I was especially pleased with the music teachers and their commitment to excellence. The musical growth displayed through concert performances was wonderful to see. The kids all responded well to their teachers and all looked excited

I have found the staff at Frost to always be helpful and concerned for my child's learning progress. I have always felt the staff to be approachable. The music program is exceptional. Parent involvement is also notable.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
