... Read more able to achieve the great grades that still hold me at the top of my class.I was even accepted into the National Honors Society because of my academic achievements. Ventana offered me a chance to become a great student and I fully grasped that. The teachers were and still are amazing, the class size is small (20-22 tops), and there were a variety of extra-curricular activities to join. I give this school a 5 star rating. (Over all I'd give my elementary school a 50 star rating, but the rating bar doesn't go that high.) Read less

I went to Ventana for 5th-8th grade. I had straight A's while I was there and loved having the personal one on one attention with teachers who really care. This school is very supportive and encourages their students to strive for the best. I am now in 10th grade and attend a college prep high school.

I have worked at numerous schools throughout Phoenix. Ventana is a great school with Teachers who are not only qualified, but care about their students. Students are challenged to go beyond what they think they can do. This school is a wonderful place for a child to learn.

I used to go to Ventana for 6-8 grade. I absolutely loved it! I was a straight A student who always worked ahead of the class, especially in math. The only problem was, when I got to highschool, things weren't like Ventana at all. The atmosphere is completely different, I, who was once a straight A student,

AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.
Gifted and Talented
