I have 3 children attending this school, with my oldest, now in 5th grade, who has been there since Kindergarten. The administration is great, the principal is wonderful, and the teachers are outstanding. There is great parent involvement, which I see everyday as a member of the PTO board. The school
... Read more ensures that any students that need extra help get it, and those that need extra challenges are empowered. The only thing I think should be added is a Spanish program, which was cut several years ago as a result of budget cuts. Overall, this school produces very bright students! Read less

Great experience with Desert Sun. The overall atmosphere is very family oriented and friendly. The principal is wonderful - loves the kids, the teachers, the parents. She is a great leader. We have found the teachers to be incredible, as well. They truly desire success for each of their students.

My child's teachers created an environment that was difficult to learn and build his self-confidence. His self-esteem definitely suffered this year. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
