Desert Arroyo pushed my daughter to do things she never thought she could do. As an 8th grader she took an 'extra' class and did an amazing project in an area that really interested her. In 7th grade, the teachers held her to high expectations and brought out the best in her learning. Her 6th grade

As a parent with two children in DAMS the block curriclum is an incredible waste of time. There is entirely too much 'independent learning' in this class structure, probably because the classes are too long. The academy classes which are offered (Drama, Tech, etc.) are again just more wasted time in

The sports program is so predictable. The same kids make the teams year in and year out. Lastly, the administration leaves alot to be desired. The administration tries to 'talk the talk, but they fail miserably when it comes to walking the walk.' There is very little accountability on the part of administration, and subsequently its staff. Trying to get a response from this principal is almost impossible. Time to move! Read less

We were new to the area in August & heard that it was a great school. I have now learned that that is not true. My son has literally been left behind. I have done my part to leave phone numbers, e-mail address & spoke to all the teachers & conselors in regards to my son with no avail. The teachers

The office staff can't be bothered with much of anything & the administration doesn't seem much better. It's a shame I wasted half a year of my sons schooling when he's just a number & it doesn't much matter how he's doing in school to anyone else except his family. I would not recommend this school. It saddens me to see such closed minded staff members and admin. We can't even get bus drivers! I will not work for this district or recommend this district.
