They have this program called Walk to Read where all the students in a grade level move to a different classroom so they can work with students with similar abilities to improve their learning. It is great! I also appreciate the many ways parents can be involved at Littleton Elementary School. They have a Come Read to Your Child program, parent training classes, parent meetings, and more. My daughter's grade has been selected to participate in the Rodel Foundation's MacRo program. As a parent new to the area, I am very pleased with my child's school. Read less

I have a kindergarten and a 3rd grader who both attend LES and i am so happy with the teachers and staff. My 3rd grader attends a resource class that is awsome. She has shown so much imporvement and growth not only with her academics but her social skills. LES staff is a great team to educate our children.

I have a 1st grader. She came from a school that was one of the worst schools in Avondale Dist. She has learned so much in only 4 months. I am thankful. I also love that they want to have parents involved with the school. The staff is very open, always willing to help..... I am thankful that this school

I have a 1st and 2nd grader and they are both performing well in this school. We transferred from a different city and so far I am satisfied with their school programs and activities. I just noticed that there are more students in each class and sometimes that can inadvertently cause neglect for other

I have had two children at Littleton. One in preschool/speech and one now in 2nd grade (began Kindergarten at Littleton). I have been very pleased with my sons teachers. They are outstanding! I stay involved and know the teachers, children and administration. There is a new principal this year.

It's very hard to give an accurate description of the school. With the high turnover and rapid pace of building it seems that it is hard to keep up. If you want bare-bones, pared-down learning (the minimum instead of the maximum) and non-progressive, 1950's style 'drill, drill, drill' curriculum, then by all means- send your kid here. Advanced Placement
