Read more opportunities for students to be highlighted and to demonstrate their talents, not only in the specialty areas of foreign language and global studies, but in their speaking abiities, talents and arts. Gibbs by far has the best Art education teacher in the state (see her/their numerous awards at the AR Arts Center), and the most creative and enthusiastic Music instructor. The children at Gibbs are excelling academically, and the staff is fully able to meet the academic needs of all students. There have been so many wonderful opportunities for our children at Gibbs. I have my fingers and toes crossed that all three of my children get into Gibbs this year and then my only problem will be when they have to leave for middle school! Gibbs is an absolutely wonderful school! I have very high expectations and this school has met every one of them. The faculty is very supportive in every way imaginable. They are very caring and concerned. My children have many opportunities that I never imagined possible in an Arkansas school.

A sensational international school that teaches foreign language to K-5 graders. Students learn the positive aspects of other countries and cultures to make them better citizens. The teachers are wonderful who work with the students to help them achieve their full potential.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
