I am a graduate of Kirby High School. I feel that I received an excellent education. I have Bachelor's Degree and I am currently working toward my MBA. I truly believe that small schools are the best. I was one of 20 graduates in my class. I graduated from high school and college at the top of my
... Read more class. I do not feel that I was deprived of anything at Kirby School. The caring and devoted teachers and staff greatly make up for any lack of extracurricular activities. Education, safety and excellent teachers have shown to be more beneficial to my life and career. Read less

I hate to have to say this, but I really feel that it is innapporiate for the parent to give Kirby School a bad rap on this website because they get beat pitifuly in ELEMENTARY school sports. Big deal. Don't try to make it look like Kirby's school children are not getting a top notch education just because

Kirby school is more concerned with building buildings than improving the quality of education and extracurricular activities. There are a lot of talented, intelligent children in this school who will not realize their full potential because there are no programs or classes other than basketball to
... Read more help them do this. Some college-bound students are kept out of what advanced classes are offered. I have also noticed that, especially in elementary sports, that the children of teachers and children whose parents are affiliated with the school in some way are put on one team and the 'rest' are put on another team. Our children (and people from other schools) notice this and this can set the stage for their self-confidence for the rest of their life. Let's do better and make kirby school a fair environment for all students, no matter what their name is or who they are related to. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
