I was not pleased at all with what I witnessed at this school. The extra programs the students are suppose to attend are cancelled on a regular basis which doesn't seem fair for the children since that is part of their learning. The students aren't taught all subject cores such as science and social

I am very disappointed with the teaching at this school. I have two children that attend Hackett Elementary. I was shocked to hear that the Principal and his staff discontinued Science and Art last year so the teachers could spend more time teaching the students about how to pass the Benchmark Tests!
... Read more I am pulling my children out of this school because I feel like the education they are recieving is on a very poor standard. When I spoke to the Principal, he did not seem concerned that my children were not learning at the level they should be. He was more concerned about getting the Benchmark Test Scores up so the school would avoid consolidation. Overall... This school is an example of why American Kids are behind other countries of the world in knowledge and education! Read less
