You're right about the Music programs...nobody really pays attention anymore...I graduated in 2008 from CC and I love the school and the people, but the music programs are nothing anymore. The teachers they have in that department are not helping. But as of the rest of the programs, the best teachers!

My son graduated from Cave City HS in 2007. He attended all four years there. We moved from a private school in Cordova, Tn. My wife visited all schools in the area and decided CCHS offered quality achademics and solid opportunities in clubs and sports. CCHS is a better school than the private school

He graduated with honors, traveled the state playing tennis, joined Christian clubs, and was awarded a tuition and fees schlarship to the college he wanted to attend. He also eaned college credit for two semesters of English at CCHS. Bottom lone, like most things in life you get what you earn and work for at CCHS. Read less

I attended this school several years ago. My experience was not a positive one. The faculty and students do not support the music department at all. I hope the newer teachers will try to treat the students more equal and attend to concerns of bullying in the proper manner.

I used to go to Cave City. I thought that the assistant principal, now superintendent, was an excellent authority figure. The academics are average, but I have concerns about how the students treat one another. When I moved to another close by school, I was treated far better than when at CCHS.

Academics second place to activities. Demands on parents for money/fundraisers constant. Taxes aren't enough, they keep coming after you every time you turn around for more money and do less and less. They seem to be taking state money and putting it in salaries and more jobs not better education,

... Read more 20 hours of college credit. Cave City also allows a high level of parent involvement. As for someone's posting about the high school principal I believe they were wrong. I would also like to say that I think your English teacher would be highly disappointed with your spelling. To those of you considering Cave City Schools it has my vote as one of the best. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
