My child is currently attending Prattville Primary School. It is a wonderful experience. Mrs. Shoupe is her teacher and continues to amaze me everyday with her energy and dedication. This school is well run. I am so very thankful that my child is challenged each and every day. I love this school!

We moved here from Virginia and I was nervous about Alabama schools, but once we visited, we weren't nervous anymore. My son went through both 1st (Mrs. Walden) and 2nd (Mrs Syslo) grade at PPS. My son is very artistic and although they don't have a formal art program, they are constantly working on art projects in the classroom. I just found out that my second son was going to be in Mrs Walden's class for his 1st grade year this year, and it absolutely breaks my heart that we are moving away! Our daughter has attended PPS for 2 years now. She has had 2 outstanding teachers. Mrs.Branning (1st grade) and Mrs.Syslo (2nd grade) go above and beyond to make sure that each child is successful while at the same time challenges them and promotes problem solving skills necessary to be successful in
... Read more later grades. They both are involved with their own children but make time to support children in their class in outside activities when possible. They truly love and care for each child in their class. The administration, faculty and staff at PPS make learning fun and make each child feel safe... Any child who attends this school will be more than prepared for 3rd grade. Our daughter especially loved Coach Jones and Coach Ledkins too. Read less

I have been very pleased with Prattville Primary School. My oldest daughter had the great fortune of having Mrs. Hope last year in second grade. She was absolutely a wonderful teacher and my daughter loved her dearly. My youngest daughter is in Mrs. Emily Cook's class this year and we are very happy
... Read more with her. My daughter loves her and said she never wants to leave her class. The office personnel has been great any time that I have been in the office. Miss Aljean(sorry for the spelling) keeps the school all nice and neat and is always smiling when I see her. I have not had very much contact with Mr. K but both of my daughters like him a lot. This is our son's first year here. He loves it and so do we. His grandmother ate lunch with him the other day. My husband and his older brother both attended pps as children. She was very amazed at the changes in the school and teachers. The school is very well kept and the teachers seem to be so

I love PPS my son will be attending his second year at this school. I was very impressed with his teacher, her high level of energy and withitness made his year just wonderful. Each day my child could not wait to go to school. This summer he is still talking about his past school year and can't wait
... Read more to attend in the Fall. They have an excellent Summer Reading Program that encourages children to read during the summer vacation. This school pushes reading which is a plus for the children. The teachers and administration believe that every child can read. Parents are encouraged to volunteer. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
