New Market School is full of caring, professional teachers and administrators that strive to provide NMS's students with the best education possible. Even though we are a small, rural school access to new technology is excellent and one of Dr. Minskey s priorities. Almost every classroom has a SmartBoard

We are parents of three children who have been at New Market School. Two of which are now 'graduates', but one is still there. I must say that I am not sure how many times other than the open house that the parent below has been to the school, but Dr. Minsky is doing a fabulous job. We are very involved,

He makes a point of learning each of the student's names, we have seen him at ball games, not just home, but away and he speaks to my kids whenever he sees them and encourages them in a positive manner. I agree that changes do come with a new administrator, but I must say as for our family, we are very pleased with New Market School! Read less

As a parent I have noticed many changes at this school since it has a new principal. In the past I have always felt that my children were safe because Mr. Evans had a firm grasp on everything going on there. Under this administration I can't say the same. From the first open house to open a new school

We got about an hour of him telling all about his creditials but I didn't hear him tell anything about his plans for this school. This has always been a good school with teachers that go above and beyond to help children succeed. I know that a new administrator brings change but the changes that I am noticing are not positive. Hopefully, the teachers can continue to do an outstanding job in spite of him. Read less

I refuse to allow her ADHD to be a crutch, but she does need some extra help staying on task and completing her work; however, clearly the teachers do not want to deal with any 'problem' children, and consequently my extremely bright but disorganized child is very near failing, and discouraged to the point of not caring whether she passes or fails.
