When Ms. Sullivan came it seems she took stock of the problems and conquered them head on. Greatest group of teacher anywhere. I have 6 children and have dealt with every sort of teacher there is. Now my grandchildren attend MOE and I am so glad. This school has a great PTA and parent involvement

Mt. Olive Elementary is a great school. My son loves it. The teachers are great and so is Mrs. Sullivan, the principle. We have a very active PTA that does a lot for our schools. ... Read more Monday's what the class will be learning that week that helps at home especially if you have a child with ADD or ADHD. It is harder for them to comprehend. I feel the teacher makes a difference with ADD and ADHD children. I hope teachers have had training on how to work with kids with this disability because this is a disability and they need specail attention. Lets help the kids all we can. Read less

MO is a great school. I have no comlaints about any of the teachers my two children had, one in the 80's and the other the past 5 years. The teachers have been well qualified and eager to teach. Read more P.E.too much pressure is placed on the kids.I know childhood obesity is a problem, however,eating disorders are also a problem.Weighing these young kids is upsetting to some because they are made fun of by those who weigh less.Preteen children do NOT need to skip meals and 'diet', which I have seen happen because of the fitness program. I feel it is the parents place to deal with fitness issues of their children, not school, or the government. A parent and their child should know the childs weight not school or government. Read less

... Read more school to be more concerned with children who are behind and who have special needs. These children should come first from the ones who are ahead of other children. There should be more tutoring for children. I am sure there are 5th graders who can tutor K5, 1st and 2nd grade. I would like for the school to become more involved in helping children who does need help. Children learn from each other. I feel everyone at Mt.Olive have been very friendly, helpful and caring. Advanced Placement
