8 Parent Reviews for W H Council Traditional School

We have been at Council for 3 years now, with my oldest in 4th grade and my youngest in 1st. One of the primary reasons we transferred to Council from private school was the ability to feed to Phillips Prep directly from Council. She is caring and fair with all students. He has learned so much. I feel that he is well prepared ...  Read more

The area around Council Traditional School is not scary. It is a typical neighborhood that has an advantage of having a police precinct near by. There has Never been at any point and time that I felt afraid or afraid for my daughters safety. She is a kindergartner this year and loves it.

Teachers are great and communicate with you regarding your children. The principal is really involve and personal. The front desk staff is friendly and informational.

The neighborhood surrounding might worry you but don't let it. These are good people who live around there. ...  Read more

Excellent academics and top scores. Very rigorous and demanding for elementary level students. New Building this year (2006). Parent involvement is not inspiring.
