Implying that the 'kids must be lieing' is ignorant and inappropriate. Our experience with Locust Fork was negative from almost every aspect. There were a couple of great teachers...we loved Mrs. Hicks and Mrs. Brand who, I believe, has since retired, but with three children, we had very negative or

My middle child was already starting to hate school in the 3rd grade. Now in his new school, he is very happy & grades are excellant. He even received a Superintendant Scholar Award this year. We have been very unhappy with this school. We have removed 2 of our 3 children to other schools & have only left the one because this one doesn't want to leave friends & is now in 6th grade. We have found teachers to be uncooperative (refuse to address our concerns...sometimes ignoring us altogether).
... Read more The VP has been rude & uncooperative & Mr. Carter spends more time denying his teachers ever do anything wrong then addressing some serious concerns including teachers leaving class unattended & teachers on cellphones during class. The first child we moved to another school has improved dramatically in the new school & is now an 'A' honor roll student & has had no problems. We have just moved our youngest child & he has already told us how nice his new teacher is & that 'she is not mean'....unlike his old one who constantly yelled. Overall...very unsatisfactory!
